As usual it's been another year of strange weather, starting with the long cold Winter and a cool Spring. We got started a little later than normal but once summer did arrive, there was virtually no rain to speak of and very little lead up to the hot weather.
For anyone working outside in the heat, it is always a challenge! Many people commented that the lack of rain must have been good for our installers. The answer was yes and no! With next to no rain the guys were able to work steadily, but the heat really takes it’s toll on them when they are in it for 10 to 14 hours a day. And with no rain days they didn’t even get a chance to recuperate.
Being my last column of the year I would like to thank some people for their support. First would be our customers who entrusted us to work on their most prized possession, their homes, and then help us with referrals and promoting the company. Second would be suppliers who keep all our guys (and gals) working.
But also I have to thank all the staff, from the designers who always strive to envision and plan the best possible "dream room" for our clients, to our inside staff who had to keep up to the installers. Finally, to the installers themselves who battle the elements every day trying to stay on schedule. It's amazing how much they accomplish in such a short building season. We are fortunate to have such a tight knit group of people that work as a team to provide our clients with such a great product as well as such personalized service.
Even though our weather is so unpredictable, I should not complain because if the weather was perfect, who would need our services? Our clients know how valuable these rooms are, especially with the variations in the weather! If you would like to beat the spring rush and find out how to improve your lifestyle, give us a call or visit our factory for more information. Sunrooms - the best way to be outdoors!
